In a competitive year, Sohini is one of the 2024 US National Honorees for the Blavatnik Awards for Young Scientists. There were only 15 finalists total, and five in the Life Sciences. Sohini is being recognized for the development of quantitative methods that reveal the causes and consequences of human genetic variation while advancing the goal of personalized medicine for all. The awards gala will be held at the American Museum of Natural History in October, and the Master of Ceremonies will be Brown University’s President, Christina Paxson. Sohini is really grateful the lab’s work has received this exciting recognition!
