Sam Smith was selected as one of this year’s two Cotterman award winners for his American Journal of Human Genetics paper: Enrichment analyses identify shared associations for 25 quantitative traits in over 600,000 individuals from seven diverse ancestries. The Cotterman Award is given to two trainee-authored articles published in AJHG in the previous year that best represent outstanding scientific contributions to the field of human genetics.
