These plans focus on altering the staircase to the centre of the building. These plans were not actually carried out as the staircase remained at the West end of the building, and is there today. This proposed design is interesting because this is an almost identical location to where the architects today are planning to locate the staircase when the building is the Joukowsky Institute.
